Oldbury Viaduct M5 Junctions 1 – 2

Major renewal scheme from Easter 2017 to Autumn 2018

The Oldbury viaduct carries approximately 2 miles of the elevated sections of the M5 to the west of Birmingham between junctions 1 and 2. This section is particularly busy, as it is a commuter hub with traffic joining from the M6 and the local area, including the Birmingham hub and other cities in the region.

There will be some disruption to the M5 and routes leading into or out of these junctions. There is likely to be congestion on the M5. Highways England advise drivers to take alternative routes and avoid M5 junctions 1-2 where possible.

Our West Bromwich branch is open for business as normal. Please be aware we have other locations in the area – please click here for a full list of our sites.

We look forward to seeing you, whichever of our sites you decide on.
